Emulation Homebrew (RetroArch 3ds) PCSX rearmed core Failed to Load chd Content?

Hello, is anyone using RetroArch especially pcsx rearmed on old 3ds?

Someone on this forum and on YouTube (his video) said that using CHD files is "lighter" and increases fps. I tried to convert my Harvest Moon Back to Nature backup from .cue to .chd format using CHDMAN, but when I opened it in RetroArch it said "Failed to load content" even though I made sure that all the bios files were in the RetroArch system folder.

Is there something wrong? Or should I set it up? I am using the latest version of RetroArch. Thanks for any help.

I think i did the same setup but I'm using new 2ds xl

Play harvest moon back to nature in .chd everything working flawlessly 60fps

Yeah, I've been getting the same issue as of late. On a New 3ds mind you.

Ever since I updated retroarch (will expand further later), I've been getting either black screens or crash dumps when loading PCSX ReArmed from main menu, and "Failed to load content" when loading from Retroarch to PCSX ReArmed.

Hope more people can contribute to this thread.

Hey, this is an old thread, but I've been having the same issue on new 3ds as well. I get a crash dump whenever I try to load content after loading the core.

There's barely any resources online because no one wants to emulate ps1 on 3ds. All of the guides on "how to get full speed with pcsx rearmed" are from 2019 ish. Maybe I'll try a build from then and it'll work.

I also hope more people talk about this. I'd really like to know how people are getting it working.

The ARM in pcsx reARMed is supposed to be all uppercase.

Hello, what version of the core are you using? Can you upload the file to test it?
