All versions have, it is part of Sonic Mania Plus content, you just have to manually enable Plus itself in the config files.

OK i've downloaded 1.0.5 and enabled dlc in rsdk settings file. It works with pro controller. Thank you.

So, if all versions have dlc through rsdk, what's the difference between mania and mania plus ?

Nothing in particular, the devs who made the decomp just wanted to give us a headache as they seem to think it’s possible to pirate the dlc but the game is fine to be pirated, I bought the game twice with dlc and I still get the headache with this decomp but thankfully the Wii U port does not come with the headache like the other ports, honestly the only additions for plus is two more characters and a pinball bonus level once you obtain all gold medals, not worth the hassle imo.

Hey now, you also get the short intro Angel Island Zone in Encore Mode as well as every stage having a new palette in encore mode. Admittedly it's nothing particularly amazing, but 2 new playable characters alone should absolutely be intriguing to newcomers to Sonic Mania.

I should also mention Sonic 3 just received a port to the Wii, now the Wii has RSDK ports of Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic CD, and Sonic Mania, I’m hoping the Wii U gets a port of Sonic 3 too someday soon.

Edit: Upon further inspection it turns out Sonic 3 is not a port of Sonic Origins’ version but rather a heavy mod of Sonic Mania that turns it into Sonic 3, I wonder if this means it can be applied to Sonic Mania for the Wii U.

Of course, I cannot share it here so don’t ask for a link but I’m sure you can find it via a google search.

Hello,

Hoping you or someone can help me out. I have bought this game for the switch, but would love to play it on my Wii U. How were you able to get the game running on the Wii U? I have the RSDK file on the V5 folder in the root of my SD card. Nothing shows up on the HBL menu.

Thank you.
