    ROM Hack Help with randomizing X and updates

    I have Luma CFW on my 2DS XL and have randomized Pokemon X and placed the necessary files on my SD. If I delete the Pokemon X game update the randomized game loads properly. Is it possible to play the game randomized with the update on a 2DS and what would I need to do to accomplish this?

    I applied the patch you uploaded to my code.bin and everything is working great! Thanks for your help :yay3ds: auto Ok, the game plays great and everything is randomized the way I set, but it tries to save the main file to SaltySD/sunmoon and crashes. Afterwards it says the save is corrupted...

    Thank you very much. My 3ds is currently finishing with game dump, so it will be a while before I can get the code.bin from the update. If I have a further issues I'll be back.

    So I need the code.bin from the update, not the game, and apply the patches to that. Should the patched code.bin be placed in luma/titles or luma/code_sections, and should it be renamed to the "title id".bin?
