I may have found my solution thanks to the 3DS hacking reddit. I'll need to use a flashcard in order to load into ntrbootloader and then i can install the firmware.- Zelkia

Ok, running it through Powershell doesn't work either- it's probably an issue with the BIOS. I have no idea where to find another copy though, and i've used the one from the MAME pack and a completely different copy. Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
