    It does work as a passme device, you can also install flashme with it, which allows you to boot a slot-2 device without a passme card.

    If it is an R4i Ultra, it will not work with YSMenu as well. What website does the card have on it?

    Delete all the cheat files from the folder, and the CC folder. Then redownload the cheat file that it is looking for (Check the globalsettings.ini). Otherwise it might be a ROM problem. Also, make sure your not enabling too many cheats.

    AKAIO uses CC. Never heard of the ARP files. Are they from your old card? Never used a DSTT. And getting a 2.1 instead of a 2i will make no difference in shipping, but now you can't upgrade(?) to a DSi

    Do a chkdisk and make sure it is checking for bad sectors. Also, since you are saying it has ~1 appended to it, thats a DOS filename. Maybe the driver for your Mac is old and screwing up the files names... rename the kingdom hearts one to the full KH ROM name (-.nds+.sav) and see if your save...

    Seems like your SD card is gone bad. I would also look into anything that is not a R4.

    I love my AK2i's (With AKAIO). However, are you sure the card died? Or just the spring broke? You might be able to salvage the card yet. iPlayer is good if you want to play movie/media or play GBA games with a slot-1 solution (Does NOT play NDS ROM's)

    You can always try to get the module off, but I would suggest you try it before you order, so if you mess it up you can get a new one. Theres no "safer" tutorial, they all accomplish the same thing... Just use the one you found, or a different one that you can understand.
