Gaming Known differences between SSBB-U and J?

Can SSBB-J play online with SSBB-U? Now that U brawl servers are up, can J find games via match finder? Are there any game differences? (trophies, stickers, glitch fixes, etc...)

    Hacking cyclowiz + dvd9 SSBB

Does your pioneer burn dual layer? What media did you burn it on? Was it +DVD DL? Have you performed a checksum on your iso to make sure it is intact? Try a different burner.

Gaming Smash Brothers Dairantou X - Online Discussion

This thread will discuss methods of enabling online Brawl play on US and PAL consoles. What is known so far: IGN has confirmed that Brawl game searching is some how regioned to reduce online lag, and will only pair players in a similar region. http://wii.ign.com/articles/849/849570p1.html...

Wii #0529 - Dairantou Smash Brothers X (Japan)

All consoles except for NTSC-J will receive duped channels. A hard reset does not wipe them, as they are written to none-volatile memory.

Hacking How many did the SSBB update 100%?

I'm gonna laugh at all the people that pulled the plug at 15% and corrupted files mid-copy. When it comes time to do a full update to get Dual Layer support on your drives, the update won't overwrite the corrupt files because they'll already have the correct version tag and date stamp. In the...

Hacking SSBB has been dumped by Taiwanese

Previously, the only way to play an NTSC-J game on NTSC-U with an update was to turn off the wii half way through the update. This way, the wii updates but does not get the duplicate channels. We have no confirmation if this works with SSBB, but speculation says no because the update requires...

Hacking SSBB has been dumped by Taiwanese

If you have a NTSC-U wii, you will get dual channels, unless someone comes up with a patch for the image or confirms that turning off the wii some part-way through the update will not dupe channels.

Hacking SSBB has been dumped by Taiwanese

You can't go faster then your maximum connection speed, which is what Newsgroups uses. When there is only 10 people uploading the file from their shitty 200kb upload speed, and 10,000 trying to download it, each person recieves it at 0.002kb/sec, aka never. There is a reason why torrents...
