    My comment was in response to the part about clean room implementation, which has nothing to do with DRM circumvention. Either way, Atmosphere is at worst in a grey zone (for now). We can't say for sure unless it goes to court (which is probably unlikely). I have never heard this before.

    It doesn't seem obvious to me. Pokémon Scarlet got leaked a week early, and plenty of other games before then. One might even say that if this really was a response to Zelda, it probably would have taken longer to happen.
