    Nope! Figured that out the hard way as well. Which sucks but my wife helps me occasionally since she knows some Japanese when I have a few notifications to make sure I do not update the system accidentally.

    Yeah I have read that Its not out yet, just wasn't completely sure which I should get. Thanks for the quick reply :) I have decided to not buy a New 3DS XL since NoA decided not to bring the regular one over which I am then just using my Japanese one, hoping the region unlocking works for it.

    So I have a New 3DS 9.2 Japanese version...and want to play my games that I have on my USA 3DS XL on my New 3DS, which cart should I buy? Would I be better updating to the newest firmware and getting one of the carts? Thanks! :)

    I have a New 3DS and there hasn't been a new update yet...So I really doubt any N3DS that have shipped are going to have a new firmware. Also those that are from like Nippon Yassan are like at least a month old in terms of being around. Since they have to be made and then loaded with software...

    Ok so it was all the backups that were on the card then, thats cool :) I will purchasing one when I can :) thanks! Though it sucks that a lot of my games are bought from the US eShop lol on my 3DS XL.
