Have you gotten in touch with the rest of the people that undubbed the first game? Or maybe Splash or any of the members of RyRo who fansub the anime. Maybe they'd be willing to help out.
I thought the team from the future was represented in the third game. In that case, I know IE3 Spark and Bomber were released at the same time, what is different about IE3 The Ogre? Is The Ogre just kind of like a Pokemon Yellow or something?
I think you misunderstand.
It's not really like there is a huge problem with the localization. This is how I look at it. I've watched over 100 episodes of the anime so far. I watch it in japanese with english subs since that's the only way to watch it in the US. So I'm used to the characters...
You guys do realize that the english puns are no less stupid than the japanese puns right? =p
The only difference is now we can actually understand them. Nathan Swift may sound lame but Kazemaru literally just means "wind man" or something.
I'm impressed you were able to already figure out a way to get the names implemented at all. I was curious to see if you'd have to make any compromises to the names since typically the japanese names have more characters than the american names and they might not have fit.
What changes to the script do you mean? Just editing the names when they are spoken as part of dialogue? Anyways, I'm surprised you were able to make so much progress so quickly, good job and keep up the great work.
It would be tough to find several people who are able to actually translate the japanese game, and be able to do DS ROM hacking, and have an interest in Inazuma Eleven.
I dunno, that's like saying one version should change "lads" into "guys" or "pitch" into "field". If you know what they are talking about I don't see the issue with it. Personally I don't care either way if it's soccer or football, I know what sport they are playing in the game. =p
btw i feel this a good time to remind you guys that sea of thieves was made by rare, who also made DKC1-3 and DK64, alongside banjo kazooie and conker's bad fur day
