    I fixed my problem, seems like i needed to change the region to USA with locales and also enable patching in luma3ds. Thanks for the help though!

    I have a theory that it could be due to the updates of the game being different. I updated my games with the e shop in 3DS Xl while N3DSXL was updated with freeshop. Maybe thats causing the corruption?

    I have tried installing the cia version of the game and exporting and importing, along with reimporting. still no luck. :(

    Actually, I forgot to add that the N3DS XL I bought was already modded with a9lh by the previous owner. I didn't plan to use the mod so forgot to take that into account. I am guessing that could be the reason? The 3DS XL is not modded.
