I've never hacked a Vita before and I want to make sure I'm not going to brick it on accident.
Yes, I'm on 3.65, sadly.
I have also been banned.
Good thing I don't like multiplayer to begin with.
99% of games I own and have ever owned are single player.
The only thing I'm somewhat worried about is not being able to use online services in FE:Fates
but even that isn't really important.
I just found the damn thing a couple days ago, too!
Trying to launch the R4i causes a black screen that pressing home doesn't fix.
I have to turn the power off.
I'm using a New 3DS XL that's running CFW.
It's okay to use DSi Ware on my homebrewed New 3DS XL right?
I think I read something about it bricking 3DSs with CFW.
I doubt it but I want to be safe.
According to this list here the only card that runs on New 3DS XL 11.3.0-36U is the R4i SDHC 3DS. However, it says it doesn't have a firmware writer.
Should I be worried about that?
My New 3DS XL is on the newest firmware but I installed Luma, Arm9, Hourglass, and IronHax before updating it.
I know updates block flash carts but I'd think you could use CFW to get around it. I just need to pick a good model. The only thing I need is a cart able to run original Nintendo DS...
I used to own a similar model but I gave it to my friend when another friend updated my 3DS without asking.
I guess it'd make more sense to buy another one of those.
I don't have one anymore. It's broken for some reason.
I purchased a used one specifically to Homebrew it.
However the DSTWO did function temporarily on my now broken 3DS. It stopped reading it after a while though.
I even ordered a second one and had the same issue.
This thing crapped out on me before and I made a post about it. However I forgot about the thing for a while and now I'm hoping I can get the thing functioning. Immediately after I post this I'll try fixing it myself while refreshing the page once in awhile.
Firmware is set up, SD Card...
@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
