    tried to force pal60 and vidpatch at no avail alas a new tv is not an option.. it's the only non-hd tv we got, but it's a foppish 42" crt (4:3) in our dining room, so opting for a smaller tv (or another 42" but 16:9) simply won't do in my parents view oh well i'll try something
