Homebrew Misc AM2R v1.5.2 crashes on YoYo Loader unless sound is disabled

1.5.5 is the latest and is pretty stable on YYL. Did crash a few times for random reasons but seems fine outside of performance. The one you have might be the dedicated Vita build, which is based off some 1.4 version. That version is known to buggy

Homebrew Misc AM2R v1.5.2 crashes on YoYo Loader unless sound is disabled

Hey all I've been trying to get an Android version of AM2R v1.5.2 working on YoYo Loader as it is built via YYC instead the GameMaker VM, thus having much improved performance over 1.5.5 (the most recent version which runs without tweaks). However it only seems to boot with sound disabled...

New static recompiler tool N64Recomp aims to seamlessly modernize N64 games

Holy shit. This might be the most impressive thing I've seen in years.

Wii U and 3DS online services shutting down today, but Pretendo is here to save the day

Regular ranked and Turf are pretty populated FWIW. It'll take time to get people on board with the project so just wait until more people join Pretendo. 1712904056 I don't think so. If your Wii U is modded you can just copy the save from your NN account to your Pretendo account. (Double post...

Valve celebrates Half-Life's 25th Anniversary offering Half-Life 1 for free with brand new content and other discounts on Steam

This year we've had Quake 2, Rise of the Triad, and now Half-Life make a comeback. Couldn't be any happier. (Also it getting Deck verified now is great as I only got my Deck a couple weeks ago)

Valve announces new OLED Steam Decks with up to 1TB internal storage and some hardware revisions

Announced not even a week after I received my Deck from a PAX Aus giveaway... (Not that I'd even be able to get this anyway, nor afford it. They still don't ship to Australia!)

Super Mario Wonder and Sonic Superstars leaked ahead of release [UPDATE 2]

Really? I played the demo at PAX Australia and it controlled brilliantly, identical to Mania I'd say. Unless they borked the Switch release (the demo I played was on PS5) or changed the physics from the demo to release

    Homebrew [Release] PrBoom+ 3DS Port (GPU-accelerated)

Surprised I didn't see this earlier, this is awesome! Sample-based midi playback and hardware rendering were the two things I wanted most from any Doom port for the 3DS. Congrats on the release! Edit: Could you be able to add support for ZL/ZR? They don't seem to work

HD graphics packs for Mesen Emulator makes NES visuals look more like SNES era games

I know it's just "one" texture pack, I was just making a joke ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (I even said the Megaman one looks cool!) Hell, even I think the tech is cool too! Like the Zelda pack doesn't look super bad at all. Not that I'd use it myself, but still.

So retro... The Megaman one above however looks really cool

DK Rap composer excluded from Super Mario Bros. Movie credits

If I had a nickel for every time a Nintendo product that released this year failed to credit people who worked on it, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

Super Metroid gets an early recompilation and PC port project

I was legit thinking about something like this existing the other day when I started my playthrough of Super Metroid. Little did I know, huh.
