    The slot 1 GBA emulator works, but it has framerate problems when playing some games and causes lower battery life because the DS's Battery must also power the SCDS2's processor. The sound is also choppy for some games.

    Every pokemon game I've played has had internationally (and sometimes even multi-version) compatible save files. as long as the JP save and the US rom have the same name it should work automatically. If it really doesn't in the case of Black/White, Pokesav will probably allow you to do it.
