    Not sure i understand what you mean. How would I launch hekate when i cant get past the "boot.dat??" error? Moreover, I dont see any partition from the old sd card after formatting.

    I replaced the boot.dat file with the SX Gear then proceeded to use the hekate file i used originally. didnt work. downloaded the newest hekate and renamed it too but also get the same "boot.dat??" error.

    It was the dongle all along. Pardon me but I use an sx os dongle and it never occured to me that the atmosphere dongle had to be updated. At any rate, thanks for pitching in!
