    I'm getting this really annoying flicker in Super Metroid's HUD when moving between rooms. If I put a filter on it stops, but the filters drop the fps. Is there a way to fix this?

    Is there a reason you can't use another CFW? And I'm not sure about this, but doesn't rxtools display a splashscreen at startup anyway, defeating the purpose?

    Use AuReiNand, it doesn't modify the version string

    I think I remember reading in a thread for one of the private CFWs (can't remember the name of it) that it is possible, and requires initializing the GPU and screen in a certain way.

    You don't need the cia file, that is for those with CFW already installed, or those who have other solutions for patched sig checks. Add the files from the first zip the same way you would with other homebrew apps.
