Since some Bilibili uploader has released footage of the Switch 2, they might've already scanned the Switch 2 circuit board layers to locate any weak points to be able to modchip it, is my guess.

On AliExpress you can buy Switch motherboard schematics but it requires the purchase of a license to get access.

@realtimesave, When the Switch launched, games were priced at upwards of $60. Yet nobody seemed to complain about it, up until now.

Some of them are $20 more than the original games. I would still agree that it's such a waste of money for a single game alone.

@SylverReZ well look at the offerings. one game is $69.99 and the other $79.99 that tells me that mario kart world probably has a larger data chip inside than donkey kong.+1
