    You could in theory now boot an autoboot disc. So now we know that at least part of the system menu works

    Haven't used your Wii in a while I see. :P Corruption of metadata creahes WiiXplorer? I don't know about that one, don't trust me there. So, if you have access to HBC, try loading SaveGame Manager GX. Make a NAND backup before hand. If SGMGX doesn't work, you can always restore your saves...

    I'm not sure if there's much more we can do then. As was said earlier, most likely NAND corruption. Best way to go? Get a new one (unless there's a new way to recover a dead NAND). Used ones on ebay can be pretty cheap. know that most scammers try to pass consoles off as expensive brand new...

    I'm booting from the CTGP-R channel without copying the vanilla save, but the CTGP save is on the SD card.
