Hacking Can’t get UNEEK+DI to load

I am having some trouble getting UNEEK+DI working on my hdd. I used modmii to create all the required files and copied them to the sd and hdd. I followed the guide by clutz450 located here https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx.149922/page-1072#post-5929568 I followed everything exactly...

Hacking Do you need to add custom iOS with d2xl-cIOS if using modmii?

Ok thanks the clarification, I didn’t want to do any unnecessary installation. Can I substitute the usb loader forwarder that modmii creates for the usb loader gx forward that I’ve seen? I like how that one looks

Hacking Do you need to add custom iOS with d2xl-cIOS if using modmii?

One last question, I noticed at the root of the copy_to_sd folder a lone iOS wad separate from the rest of the iOS wads. Does that one need to be installed as well or does that get installed when following the guide that modmii generates? I can’t recall the specific iOS that is by itself at the...

Hacking Do you need to add custom iOS with d2xl-cIOS if using modmii?

XFlak Thanks for the reply. I actually meant d2x cios, not d2xl. Sorry for the typo. Modmii is great and worked like a charm! I just wanted to make sure the iOS files modmii created took care of all that and that I didn’t have to manually set up anything. Thanks again for the awesome program!

Hacking Do you need to add custom iOS with d2xl-cIOS if using modmii?

I have successfully jail broken my Wii with modmii and everything worked great. I had watched several videos using other methods to jailbreak and they always install the custom iOS’s with d2xl-cIOS. Do the iOS files that modmii generates for you to install take care of what the tutorials that...

Hacking How to install a bunch of VC wads without installing to home screen

I was having issues with showmiiwads crashing every time I added my vc wad folder, both within modmii and the standalone showmiiwads program. I was trying to load quite a lot of vc wads and the program just hangs and crashes each time. I was thinking about using the modmii to create the...

Hacking How to install a bunch of VC wads without installing to home screen

Ok thank you! Is it possible to copy all my vc wads to my hdd and automatically install them on the virtual nand? I heard you can use showmiiwads but when I try to do that the program just freezes. Both from within the modmii windows program and the standalone showmiiwads program. edit: Now...

Hacking How to install a bunch of VC wads without installing to home screen

So to make sure I have this correct. I want to create a virtual nand with sneek or uneek. Install all my vc wads to the virtual nand. Then use usb loader gx to show all the vc wads from the virtual nand on my real nand?

Hacking How to install a bunch of VC wads without installing to home screen

What is the best way to load more Wii virtual console games than there are spaces on the main menu? Ideally I’d like them to not actually install to the home screen and just be able to view them via usb loader gx. is something like this possible with many virtual console games?
