Tutorial Internal modchip - SAMD21 (Trinket M0, Gemma M0, ItsyBitsy M0 Express) Guide, Files & Support

Looking good. I am planning almost the same thing. Removing the usb micro b port and moving all connections to the usb c port would be a little more asthetically pleasing but otherwise a great build

Hacking Question Can we charge the switch while on AutoRCM mode on SX OS

You know...capacitors do not suck energy from air...so technically sx os pro could die. So dont say "IT NEEDS NO CHARGING, IT NEVER DIES."

Hacking Question Can we charge the switch while on AutoRCM mode on SX OS

It happened to me and its scary. It eventually worked but keep in mind that charging is very slow in RCM mode. Takes 45 min to 1 hour to get barely enough juice to power on the switch.

Tutorial Internal modchip - SAMD21 (Trinket M0, Gemma M0, ItsyBitsy M0 Express) Guide, Files & Support

Ok. That answers my question. So we would be placing the magnetic button flat on the board so it can pressed with the back cover in place? Edit: nevermind i got it

Tutorial Internal modchip - SAMD21 (Trinket M0, Gemma M0, ItsyBitsy M0 Express) Guide, Files & Support

Joxley192 mentioned 5-6 posts ago that he put a switch to manually turn on/off the trinket m0. So if i am understanding this correct we dont need to put that additional physical switch because that job is done through pin 4?

Tutorial Internal modchip - SAMD21 (Trinket M0, Gemma M0, ItsyBitsy M0 Express) Guide, Files & Support

So i was reading this guide https://github.com/Quantum-cross/sam-fusee-launcher-internal/blob/master/INSTALL.md and it states all the optional steps but connecting the trinket pin 4 to the tiny cap is not optional. My understanding was this is optional. Can somebody explain what is the function...

Tutorial Internal modchip - SAMD21 (Trinket M0, Gemma M0, ItsyBitsy M0 Express) Guide, Files & Support

I see the button now so to clarify things. I understand but the risk is too much for soldering on the tiny cap. I could easily take the cap off with too much heat. I read somewhere that you could program the trinket m0 to turn off after couple seconds of injecting the payload hence solving the...

Tutorial Internal modchip - SAMD21 (Trinket M0, Gemma M0, ItsyBitsy M0 Express) Guide, Files & Support

I have a question in regards to the permanent trinket m0 install. Since i already have the right joycon modified to boot into RCM so can i skip soldering trinket points 3 & 4 to the tiny cap and joycon pin 10?

Hacking SX OS - Playing own Dumps

Coudnt agree more. Its a very likely possibility that nintendo can tell when somone is using SXOS but i dont think they care (as of now) when they see people using "legit" dumps with private certs. I didnt care about piracy much and the greatest benefit for me in regards to SXOS is the ease of...

Hacking SX OS - Playing own Dumps

I have been playing online with my legit dumps of MK8 and Splatoon 2 since SX OS 1.1 and havent been banned yet. So i think its safe. I used WAIN to dump my carts with cert

Hacking Question Do you get banned from using a CERT from the same game cart or the same game on a different cart

I have MK8 cartridge which i dumped including its cert. I have been playing online multiplayer with the backup since a week and havent been banned yet. I cant say about injecting mismatched certs tho.

Hacking Discussion SX OS's Ban Reports

but its definitely safer than injecting a different game's cert. that shit was ok with 3ds but not this time.
