New Witcher 3 expansion announced, set to launch in 2027 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series

Well, the point is the game is still treating all of Sapkowski's writing as canon. You'll get more out knowing Emhyr from the novels than you will out of knowing the entirety of what happened in W2, basically. As to Geralt that's up for debate, and depends on your definition of "completely"...

New Witcher 3 expansion announced, set to launch in 2027 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series

Not really. You'll get more out of 3 if you read the books vs playing 1 & 2. I do like 2, though.

New Witcher 3 expansion announced, set to launch in 2027 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series

Different teams/studios working concurrently on different projects. And one of those studios is also remaking the 1st game, in UE. There's more projects in the pipe for CDPR, also a new IP. This expansion is sort of the answer to development taking eons, plus fishing for some easy positive W3...

ZA/UM Studio launches 'Imprint', a developer podcast series

I would urge anyone to compare the writing in what's been revealed from Zero Parades vs the writing in Disco Elysium (just choose a random bit, any bit). That is all.

"Blood: Refreshed Supply" releases today for consoles and PC

The last one didn't turn out that well even after patches, so pre-ordering was out of the question for me. Looking at some of the early impressions post-release... this wasn't a loyalty discount, it was a trap for suckers.

"Blood: Refreshed Supply" releases today for consoles and PC

Prior to release this had a discount (on Steam at least) for owners of the previous remaster. The discount disappeared with the launch so no, I'm not buying it for the 5th time, "Atari."

Double Fine Productions' new game, 'Keeper', launches today on PC and Xbox

Spacebase DF-9, which they addressed. They even released the source code before abandoning the game. DF misjudged just how complex and involved this kind of game is to make. Hubris, I guess. Honestly, there's several insane projects made by tiny teams and even individuals that could make it...

Double Fine Productions' new game, 'Keeper', launches today on PC and Xbox

No, there's been... a trailer? Microsoft/Xbox just dumps everything out to die. 66 reviews on Steam for a Double Fine game over 24h after release? That's self-sabotage.
