    awesome that worked! Thanks! thank you too! Final question, Not sure if its an appropriate one. Now that I have completed this guide. Do I need a flashcard? If not, then do I create a New folder in the SD root to add rom files, or how what would my next steps be to get some gaming on?

    ok awesome, so it worked however now im in the Godmode section. It instructs: Launch GodMode9 by holding (Start) during boot Is that during a full 3DS boot? if so i tried but it just loads the 3DS normally

    yeah i did a triple check on everything else. What I think I did , Is skip that section since it had bubbles about whether we had done something previously and since this was my first go at it, I figured that whole section was not meant for me :/

    I followed the guide step by step found in https://3ds.guide and used the browser version I added all the files the way it instructed however when I launch Homebrew it stays stuck in the Nintendo 3DS loading screen. This is what my SD root looks like after following all the steps

    for right now yes. Im on 11.6 and currently looking to do only DS. I'll start looking into 3DS once i get the hang of this. I have another 3DS running 6.1 and that "Fake" R4 i have doesnt have a kernel for it. So I am looking at installing boot9strap on that one, But thats a regular old 3ds...
