    But nope, it's full of myths and beliefs held by ancient civilisations. Not at all relevant nowadays; I'm honestly shocked people still take Christianity seriously, when we (rightfully) see the old Greek gods as the myths and make-believe they were - what's the actual difference between the Greek gods and the Christian god?

    Greek gods are super-humans. Not omniscient, not omnipotent, not a single entity. They have human like problems and weaknesses, just more power than regular humans. The mythology even includes half-gods (Hercules).
    Monotheistic God is supposed to be omniscient, omnipotent (and sometimes all-good). Monotheism definitely is a step up to attributing a single god to each natural phenomenon (e.g. the sun).

    With politics in democratic countries, its always what get now is what we needed a decade ago, and what we need now we will get in 10 years

    We NEED to start replacing fossil fuel power plants with something far more efficient and less polluting - like, say, nuclear power. Incredibly safe these days, and even considering the comparatively-minuscule waste, that can be safely stored too.

    And we need to start moving away from cars, and car-ruled city design. Start promoting and improving public transport (buses, trains, trams/light rail), which inherently hold significantly more people, and are thus way more efficient and less polluting. Also, promote cycling, and actual liveable cities and residential areas. Look to the Netherlands and Japan.

    I can't believe that my music finally sounds on level with all those other youtube chiptuners and no longer inferior or like a noob. It will take a bit to get used to, but it's very gratifying to finally get a bit good after all these years of moping and whining about how bad I am.

    I left the Catholic Church because this mundane(!) organization systematically protected child abusing priests, hid evidence and waited with disclosure until statutory limitation made a guilt verdict impossible – or until the culprits had died.

    After leaving this sinful organization, they sent me a letter telling me – indirectly –

    They say benevolent God will send me to hell because I distance myself from a bunch of greedy men, who protected those, who raped children? Talking like that about God is blasphemy!
