    Hardware PSP fuse location.

Not finding much info online on PSP 3000 fuse locations or values either. Does nobody do proper repairs on these things?

Hardware PSP 3000 USB fuse location

Do you have info on where the other fuses are and what values a replacement fuse should be? I have a PSP 3000 not powering on at all. I just keep finding people that bridge the connections with a solder blob everywhere I look.

Hacking Question Atmosphere emummc refuses to access SD, displaying Error 2016-0247

I ran into this issue recently after upgrading all my homebrew, although unlike OP I do see all the homebrew apps in the menu launched from the album. I get the same error popup + games showing the data is missing. sysMMC still works. I tried booting an old backup emuMMC and I don't get the SD...

Homebrew Burn2Slot - Re-programm GBA bootlegs on DS

I've got a cart that isn't working correctly when flashed. When I try writing to it, the ROM gets corrupted. I believe it's Mitsubishi brand flash. Also, does anyone know how to remove that black dot from the PCB in some of these things in case I want to add a battery? I already tried a...

Hacking New Theme for EZ-Flash Omega!

Are there any major known issues with running this on the Definitive Edition? I saw mentions of corrupt saves, which I have never experienced on stock, but it sounds like that's just the original Omega maybe. I'm considering installing this, but I don't want a worse experience. I'm also looking...

    Best Flashcart available.

You can get it from retrogamerepairshop's website. I don't know if they're the cheapest or not.

    Best Flashcart available.

I use an EZ Flash Omega DE with a Game Boy Micro and it works great for me. Do you run into issues very quickly or only after long sessions? I usually keep my battery topped off and play probably under an hour at a time most days. I can play a half hour session of Panel de Pon without issue...

Wood Firmwares - Complete information guide & downloads

I found this R4 at a friend's house and he let me borrow it. It says 2015 on it. There was no SD in it. Based on the compatibility list it looked like I should install BL2CK maybe. Tried dropping on the files, but I just boot to colored squares. red green red green. I'm testing on a DSi XL...

Wood Firmwares - Complete information guide & downloads

Does this have advantages over TWiLightMenu (on a flashcart)? I've heard of Wood Firmware before but I'm not sure if it's still worth using these days when we have good free/open source options. I've got some R4s of some sort on the way from aliexpress.

Square Enix says it remastered Chrono Cross so it wouldn't become an "unplayable" game

I'd like to see this talked about more. I think the game studios are chasing pretty graphics too much and normalizing garbage performance. Before we get 4k, HDR, and so on, I think we should be getting more games that just run well in the first place. They set the bar too low in that area.

FPSLocker homebrew app for Switch updated to v1.1.0

My first thought when I saw the title was that it was for lowering the framerate to a new setting. I've heard of people doing that on their Steam Decks to 50 or 40fps so they could increase battery life. Sounds like it will be for doing both that and removing locks, which is nice.

SteamOS updated to Stable 3.4.6, fixes RE4 demo and adds ray tracing to Doom Eternal

Game-specific updates seem weird to me as well, but if it's a general fix that just happened to clear up a bug for a game, then that's fine.

Hacking New major updates made in the $3 Pikofly Nintendo Switch modchip project

I used some of the RP2040-Zero when I built some Flatbox Rev5 controllers. It concerns me that Waveshare seems to be the only place to get them, and from what I remember they took a while to arrive. It seems like a clear point of failure. I wonder which other boards would be a good fit here...
