Original ZSNES developers reunite, emulator gets a revival as Super ZSNES with a swath of new features

It's based on the Unity game engine. I wonder why they chose that. It's not exactly something to be excited about. It relies on a company that isn't exactly known for being customer-friendly.

EA posts a job listing hinting at possible Linux and Proton support for their Javelin anticheat

ust saying, it's completely impossible to develop an anti-cheat app for an open source OS on PCs because cheaters can modify the OS in such a way that the anti-cheat app never finds the cheat. You could use the OS itself as a cheat. Software developers will understand what I mean.

Analogue 3D - an FPGA based reimagining of the N64 announced

Always this nonsense. Emulation on a Windows PC: Emulator -> Windows -> DirectX/Opengl -> Driver -> Hardware. Emulation on FPGA: Emulator -> Hardware. That is the difference. You save a lot of software layers. But it is still a software emulator. So comparable to a firmware. If the emulation...

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been leaked almost 2 weeks from release

I also have this problem. I tried Mario and there the date is displayed correctly in the savegame. Is a problem with the emulator. Do you also have crashes from time to time? The games are encrypted. The key to decrypt the games is on the console. You can't get the key without hacking the...

Death Stranding is the next free Epic giveaway game

Is it free for you? So for me it says it's free at the place where the free games are but when I click on it it says on the right I have to pay for it. When I click on it I end up back on the main page. The store is down in the browser version.

Emulator Kyty, a PS4 and PS5 emulator, gets v0.1.0 release

You too. 1. There are no ROMs but images. 2. The games are encrypted. The key is stored somewhere in the console. Without a hacked console, the games cannot be decrypted and thus cannot be emulated. You can download the game somewhere for sure. But you won't be able to do anything with it.

Nintendo Switch Cyberpunk 2077: Portable Edition details leaked

On the screenshot IN THE GAME are the keys for PC control. I recommend drinking less alcohol and not taking drugs to be able to think clearly. And don't even try to come up with stupid arguments that it's not ported yet or something. Anyone can just play a video on the Switch and take pictures...

Nintendo Switch Cyberpunk 2077: Portable Edition details leaked

I am very surprised by the reactions here in this forum. Either you are still young or people are so stupid nowadays that they don't even recognize fake news on April 1st. Guys, you can even see the PC keyboard and mouse controls on the screenshots! This is just a video of Cyberpunk on the PC...
