So there are a lot of unsuccessful dumps with the famous C2-12828-1 error and people probably don't care anymore, they're just waiting when things will be fixed, but we could contribute and help that guys who's still developing these dumping tools. They could just provide more detailed info...
I want to ask someone to write to that guy who developed MaiDumpTool, as the future of Vitamin is unclear and probably its development is stopped completely.
Anyway the problem is that there are some types of games which have *.suprx files which doesn't seem to be stripped of DRM encryption...
How about that guy who decrypted Tokyo Xanadu and Odin Sphere, may be he could try to realize his version of dumper app. Anyway soon or later the new version of Vitamin will be realized but as I understood this could be delayed for some weeks. If somebody is watching that Chinese forum try to...
I think that devs actually might need help from people on lower FW, to play with different versions of pspemu for example. So I would advice you also to stay some more time on lower FW because you can update anytime but not downgrade yet. I'm sure seeing how fast things evolve now there will be...
Well if you fell comfortable and you have no input lag issue with 4000kbs then of course you can keep this bitrate. But I personally have a lag of about 0.5sec with 4000kbs, so I don't feel comfortable and I hate playing with so high latency, but with 2000 its just ok.
I guess the update file is loaded in this folder: ud0:/PSP2UPDATE/PSP2UPDAT.PUP, I opened this file through a hex editor and I found "3.61" string were specified in several places. So if you have this file - delete it. My file weighted about 12Mb so Vita didn't manage to finish download. I don't...
2000kbs will be just fine for 960x544, I could make some screens and show you that even in fast scenes there aren't any artifacts with 2000kbs. For Vita's resolution 2000kbs would be just enough, ok you could increase it to 2500kbs but not 5000kbs
I think as there is already a public tutorial on Wololo: SKFU releases ? Package Installer Unlock on the retail PS Vita! which involves directly this application, then it IS automatically meant for people who didn't write a line of code in their life but want to enable packager. Personally I...
@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
