Thank you for the responses. I updated everything on my switch (ofw, cfw, hekate, sigpatches, tinfoil, tinwoo) also updated NS-USBLoader. Still had the same error with tinwoo but then had no issue getting the game loaded through tinfoil.
Thanks for replying.
Can you provide a link to a version you have working of either or both of those?
Currently trying to use your recommendations. I installed the NS-USB loader v7.0 from github page. Inside the program I downloaded and installed the drivers.
I have now selected a switch file...
Looking for suggestions on a current version loader app that will allow for usb install from external hdd/usb drive or from usb cable plugged into pc running windows 10.
I have several loader apps installed (probably outdated versions) but constantly have difficulties getting them to work. I...
Attempting to follow this guide now. I'm stuck at step 10:
I have no "restore" folder on the root of my SD card. Should I create one or do I need to look somewhere else?
**edit**
I found the restore folder, it's under the folder inside the "backup" folder on the root of the SD card.
Try this
I am not an expert though. I can't honestly remember exactly how I did it but I know I couldn't run things I could before updating Atmosphere and OFW until I updated the sigpatches.
My switch has never been online.
choidujournx is outdated. As Hayato213 said above use Daybreak instead. You should find daybreak is already installed as part of Atmosphere and is available in the homebrew menu. It's very easy to use and you just need the same update files you would have used with choidujournx, again as...
Hi, I'm looking for the best up to date guide for upgrading a SD card with partition based emunand. I'm using Atmosphere and OFW 12.0.3 on the switch. I have a windows PC I can use too.
My searches have turned up links to missing guides or old info I'm not sure still applies.
OK, that makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.
That's actually great news. I've never connected this switch to the internet and never plan to so I'll look into using a forwarder.
Thanks again again for the information, you've been very helpful.
Thanks, that's exactly what I was after.
And wash your damn hands!
I did search for an answer and my search results brought me to this thread but not the first page of it and not a page that had the answer I was looking for. The guide I read made mention of title takeover being "preffered"...
I'm not havig any luck getting Retroarch to run.
I've just updated to latest Atmosphere (0.91.4) and OFW (12.0.3)
I've updated sigpatches too.
I've installed the current stable release of Retroarch (1.9.6) and it shows in the Homebrew Launcher. When I select it and try to run it I get a grey...
I had a bit of a go the other day, gave up and found a windows machine and got the job done.
Sorry I can't be of help. If you can use a windows PC it does make things easier and you don't need it for long.
What is the reason for removing and changing the lipo protection circuitry?
I would think it would be better to leave the cell's protection circuitry as what comes with the replacement cell than swapping it for another cell it wasn't designed for.
While I have your attention duwen, can you let me know about the 3.65 or lower firmware requirement for the cold boot enso exploit?
I was under the impression you needed to be on 3.60 or lower to get the exploit to install. Is this not the case? Can you direct me to a handy guide? I've read a...
I haven't played my Switch n a month or so, just been playing Xbox, and just picked to play lil and Damn that A and B, X and Y being reversed always gets me.
I agree Tears is great. I even played thru it completely twice. I've been hooked on playing thru Fallout 4 again though, after they released the next gen version for Series S/X. Is pretty cool update.
because I already got burned out with breath of the wild, which for the most part is essentially the same game, and then again with master mode, which doesn't work as a new game plus (that always felt bizarre to me)
