Homebrew {Request} Can someone look into the FLOG Emulator? [Updated]

There is no RTC battery on board. https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nintendo+Switch+Teardown/78263#s156388 It must be using the actual Switch battery. I wonder if leaving it disconnected for an extended period would do the trick? I wonder if earlier twitter user wasn't disconnected long enough...

That's from http://switchbrew.org/index.php?title=Flog#Official_Launch Someone pulled battery on 3.0.0 Switch with no luck: https://twitter.com/David3141593/status/910233743998226432

Hm.... this is freaking bizarre. 1.0 systems are able to do it, but anything afterward isn't? I wonder what kind of changes have been made to the code since 1.0. This is more about the mystery at this point, and a cool easter egg at that.

If you're able to test, please let us know what you find! I don't see any kind of CMOS-like battery on the board, but to be safe, I'd press the power button on the Switch for a second to discharge any additional juice the system is storing once the battery is disconnected.

Homebrew {Request} Can someone look into the FLOG Emulator? [Updated]

That's what I'm thinking here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/request-can-someone-look-into-the-flog-emulator-updated.478296/page-30#post-7585027 I want to test but can't for a few hours. It isn't too hard to get to battery, just requires that dang Tri-Wing screwdriver.

Homebrew {Request} Can someone look into the FLOG Emulator? [Updated]

Alright, if this is legit, I'd bet you can clear system and network time by following something like this: - remove all saved network from the switch (or airplane mode but keep BT on?) - remove back case, disconnect battery for a few moments - reconnect, reassemble - change time to July 11 - do...

ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

How are the permanent blotches of dirt calculated? Or are these a myth and will go away? I tried the grass reset and waited until the next day, but all the dirt spots were back.

ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

I'm wondering how permenant dirt spots are generated. Just changed a few acres, fixed grass, went forward a day, and I have a dirt spot that takes up half the bottom acres. Wondering if there's a hidden value somewhere that can re-roll, so to speak, the dirt RNG.

Homebrew Is it safe to delete legitimate tickets for content I own?

Lets see. Lets say you own a legitimate Pokemon X, have it installed, and delete the ticket for it. Pokemon X will no longer be on your home screen, and it will have an X next to it in data management. You can reinstall the ticket (via FBI, for example) and it will be available again with saves...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Hey everyone, I just wanted to make note of what I said earlier about BASE1, BASE16, BASE256, and GBATEMP commands. The post regarding these is located here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-have-a-homemade-streetpass-relay.352645/page-10#post-4739510 I'll see if I can help anyone else in a...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

If that's the case, that may be the issue. Doing a little Googling leads me to believe that this version may include a consolidated version of wget. If you're willing, try flashing to this version: http://www.dd-wrt.com/routerdb/de/download/TP-Link/TL-MR3020/v1.x/tl-MR3020-webflash.bin/4112 It...
