    Beware, u have to use a bootmii version matching the nand backup. If u backed up with bootmii ver 0.1 and now try to restore with 0.4 it will not work Not shure isnt there a methode to get the "old" nand backup working under the new bootmii version ?

    Same here and to clearify I do not want to disable the use at all or apply parental control. Just want to prevent adding and erasing with locking that away. Any option planned or I am doing something wrong. Ver is 881. In the Wii itself the parental control is off.

    Thats, why they said install BootMii first in Boot2. Make a backup of ur nand. Then no fear about bricks anymore. u can even delete the whole ios on ur wii, BootMii will let u recover Read here http://bootmii.org/
