ChisFlash - open source GBA flashcart

if you are looking for an unassuming, no rtc 1m flash save cart like mine, you are out of luck. the one i bought is out of production. and most of the normal looking ones have fram save. this is the best i could find. it has rtc, but if the game doesn't use rtc it ignores it and you can safely...

AGS-001 Screen paired with AGS-101 Motherboard

the pinout should be out there, i think. the gba hardware is very well documented. i found this from a quick search or schematics. https://github.com/Yxf92/GBA_Schematic/blob/main/SCH_C-AGT-CPU-01_2025-02-24.pdf

AGS-001 Screen paired with AGS-101 Motherboard

don't know if someone attempted that before, only the contrary. you are better of getting an AGS-101 screen as the pinout of AGT motherboards may be slightly different and that's why it's not working. you can find them on aliexpress if you search carefully. use this image as reference. as there...

Hacking Translation The Age-Old Superstar Saga Question

mush badge is nerfed in the japanese version. making it a highly inferior version. not counting all the other nerfs. most other changes are only cosmetic, making it a nothingburger really. i still hope you can achieve your goal. romhacking is fun on its own.

SuperFW: a custom firmware for Supercard

@chrisis685 @sam2895 i checked and the files aren't zip, but the firmware itself. in the meantime, you can rename it from .zip to .gba and copy it to your sd card.

SuperFW: a custom firmware for Supercard

we have come to the conclusion that agb with "CPU AGB A" generally work fine with the supercard. this has not been 100% proven and i've seen reports of users claiming that it doesn't work well on their gameboy player, when, for what i can gather, all gameboy player's have "CPU AGB A" with later...

SuperFW: a custom firmware for Supercard

are you using an og gba? by your previous reports i would asume that being the case and that, unfortunately, you have an older model that has problems with the supercard. there is no fix for that at the moment other than using a late og gba or gba sp and later.

    Terrible hissing after changing capacitors

as i said, i'm no expert. but as far as i know, the rating of the cap affects which noise frequency it filters. it is better to ask someone that knows about it. i just searched until i got the data sheet of caps with the letters and compared to the writings in caps of a stock gba.
