    My wife just reached a point in the game where the is a reference to pages in the book other than the magic spells. She claims you actually need the book in its entirety to play through the game. Considering that she is Japanese I would take her word for it.

    I just downloaded a clear EUR version of the rom after putting this firmware on my R4 and it works 100%. I suggest checking YOUR version of the rom because I am playing right now.

    I had the same problem. You have to use ios55 to start the game but it will fail to load with the standard version. Get the fixed version of ios55 by installing cioscorp. After that use Softchip and make sure you set it to use ios55. I spent the last two days working on this and finally got it...
