When I backed up my unused Switch I only got prod keys but no title keys. Are there title keys only after putting games on the Switch or do I need to find them?
Too bad, it's 11 burnt fuses.
My question: Is there still any reason to use autorcm?
I did update my Emunand. But then I asked about Sysnand for playing online and was told not to worry about fuses and update it...
In that thread, I wasn't trying to argue but to understand.
I think, it's too late now, unfortunately. I booted directly into Sysnand (without autorcm) and updated to 9.0.1
Wish I had known better but at least it works...
Thanks for the help!
I was just interested because when I was new to Switch hacking and asked what to do, I was told to update my Sysnand:

Anyways, now that I've already updated my Sysnand and burned my fuses, there is no...
What do you mean by "that's it"? On an unpatched Switch fuses are not really needed except for a theoretical upcoming more comfortable way of booting, no?
I don't think it makes sense to say that one CFW is better than the other. They have different features and it depends on what you need/prefer.
Personally, I first installed Atmosphere then got SX OS and quickly changed back to Atmosphere.
The main advantage of SX OS is that you can run XCI...
But if you're on 3.0.1 joycons will not work with higher firmware and if you update the joycons to higher firmware they will not work in OFW. Also, if you leave OFW on 3.0.1 you will not be able to play a lot of games online when booting into OFW.
Or am I wrong on this?
Reason I am asking, I...
Why do fuses still matter with an unpatched Switch? The exploit is on a hardware level anyways, and it doesn't matter what firmware your OFW is on.
Just trying to understand...
This might be an option soon: https://gbatemp.net/threads/more-info-regarding-switch-mariko-lite-mods-by-team-xecuter.551848/
And might be better to stay on the lower firmware for that.
I read that you have to increase the memory to 8mb for Mario 64 Hacks. How to do this on retroarch and is there anything else I have to set?
At the moment, I am just getting a black screen after the starting screen (with some hacks the starting screen doesn't even appear).
Thank you!
