Hacking [List] Games required Firmware version

The users in the thread about Astral Chains firmware confirmed it came with firmware update 8.0.1 in the box and then once connected online it requested to update to 8.1.0 including patching the game. But once my PC is operational next month I will download this desktop tool as I doubt its...

Hacking [List] Games required Firmware version

A little confused now since I read a thread where people were able tp use goldlief to run Astral Chains which requires version 8.0.1 but they ran it on Goldlied 7.0 with the option to ignore required firmware turned on. Do I basically just need to install Goldlief or is it best to use...

Hacking [List] Games required Firmware version

Hold up, you're telling me I can download a pirated copy of Astrol Chains now and then without even having a cartridge side load it to a micro sd card and play it on a Switch with an upgraded version to the games required version using ChoiDojourNX?

Hacking [List] Games required Firmware version

Downgrading isn't really a big deal as I will do a full Nand back up before updating with ChoiDujourNX to 8.0. I simply just want to play Astrol Chains and Links Awakening without updating to the cartridge firmware and tripping fuses. Do I need the games purchased to use NSC Builder to check...

Hacking [List] Games required Firmware version

I see, so if I use CDNX to update my system without tripping fuses to 8.0, once games come out even if they go beyond their required firmware I can bring it back to what ever that was. So forexample the new Zelda Breath of the wild copies all require 8.0, but I can use that tool to bring it back...

Hacking [List] Games required Firmware version

Hey guys, is their an update to this post in regards to what CFW and games are supported when updating with CDNX. What games can I play on the latest stable version for it without burning fuses? Reason why I am asking is because I really wanted to play Astrol Chains and Links Awakening but I...

    Tutorial L4T Ubuntu Install guide

By installing Linux do you still have the ability to go in and out of original firmware and Linux? Like lets say to play Astrol Chains when it comes out. Also as I saw earlier on page 2 of this thread Hetake already gives you the opportunity to go in between, Atmosphere, SX OS, Linux, etc. if...

    Introduction to all RomReactor

Hey guys, I guess this is normal for me to introduce my self. I am currently coming from an old website called RomReactor which later closed down and renamed 3Roms, and eventually fully closed. I personally like the name and I kept it. Otherwise I am a drupal developer, am on and off the android...

Homebrew Discussion Do you thing Switch homebrew will die off if a hack for Patched Switch units never gets released?

I'm on 4.1 right now. I was super upset though when I checked my serial numbers at the store, and then after I got it and turned it on was 4.0.1. I trully thought it was going to be like on firmware 3.0 or below, but go figure I guess Nintendo really went HAM to get even the off the shelf models...

Homebrew Discussion Do you thing Switch homebrew will die off if a hack for Patched Switch units never gets released?

Hey just found this guide on the forum, apparently the Switch already has some type of cold boot with Fusee Gelee that allows you to update firmware without burning fuses. I will try this guide first and see if I can maybe even play a game from version 6.0.2 which is most safe to use. Guide...

Homebrew Switch Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

Sweet, k so to my understanding, with my 4.1 FM and system hardware, I can flash Fusee Gelee with an RCM Jig, and from there use Fusee Gelee to back up my Nand and then use ChoiDojourNX to update my firmware to play new games, like Astrol Chains offline with out burning any fuses. All with the...

Homebrew Switch Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

Oh awesome, I remember when I got the switch I made sure the serial numbers checked and they were in the green zone from that thread. Also, to my understanding, basically once I install custom firmware with the jig method, and back up the system Nand, I can use the custom homebrew application...

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
