    Thanks for this tip! I'm going to try it out.. just wondering do I have to glue it or can I just put the coin on top? And any coin will work at all? I'm almost 99% sure it's the antenna, but I just tried with a 1 cent penny on top without adhesive and didn't work.

    Just wondering has anyone gotten the plastic card type NTAG215 to work? My sticker ones work just fine, but my order of 100 NTAG215 plastic cards don't register whatsoever. Wondering if this is something that can be fixed in the future or if anyone has experienced similar?

    Yeah I ordered 20x stickers off Amazon so we'll see how that goes. I've really tried everything to get these card ones to read, but I think I'm having the same problem as user DjoeN on page 19. Sad because I bought 100x for $40 and none are working.

    Yes I'm trying to write to them. I don't put the tag on the reader until it tells me to, and it doesn't register at all. However it registers immediately when I use the NTAG that came with the R3 (that is not 215) so there must be something wrong with reading these cards that I got today...

    So I just built mine and it seems to have problems reading the NFC tags that I got. I purchased these ones from DHGate and it is stuck at Waiting for Ntags. It reads the other ones that came with the R3 just fine, but unfortunately they are not NTAG215. Tried with .02 and .03 alpha

    I bought some NTAG off DHGate a couple weeks ago and it's now been at "Held at customs" for 7 days now. Is this just because they don't update regularly or is my mail actually stuck somewhere in customs? Anyone encounter the same thing ordering from China?

    Is soldering a requirement? I am not really familiar with soldering. I watched this vid and it seems like the guy just plugs the pins into the RC522 slot without soldering or am I mistaken?
