    check the filter above the usb port (near the ram) also check the test pints below it for a diode reading, will it charge with a 5 volt charger? you can also take the emmc out, and see if it automatically goes into rcm

    if you think that the hanging is due to a bad wifi ic, then powering the switch without one installed will go past the switch logo. (might take a few seconds longer)

    i'm not very technical at reading datasheets, but it does say connect lx1 and 2 under the chip on that pdf, thou this could just be a option for certain applications. easier just to buy a donor pcb, and transfer the componenets

    +AJZ 917 is the ic the bottom thing is a coil the brown things are caps nothing apart from the ic needs to go a certain way

    all i can tell you its for me its always the wifi chip or those 2 caps. sometimes reflowing the wifi ic, gets it working again for a day yeah guess you could check if the voltages are correct i suppose

    always the wifi chip in my experince yes generally the wifi chip if you haven't messed with the switch, ive had switch where those two 10nf caps have been misplaced so worth checking those, does the switch take a long time to boot on a switch logo.

    remove the diode. if its the same as first gen switches. (i have no idea) it was located near the power button fpc/fan fpc on older switches

    Here's my 2 cents. A switch will hang on the switch logo when there's something wrong with the Wi-Fi chip (i wish m92 did this too but I've never had that) on this note it can be very slow on this splash screen but boot but you'll notice you don't have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. a short or something...

    i actually prefer the lite over the main switch, but i think nintendo should make a companion base unit for tv, no lcd etc,
