    I tried that, where I backed up the bricked wii's nand, and used Ohneschwanzenegger to make a clean nand, but restoring it did nothing. I can't figure out why, but I'm wondering if installing the homebrew channel (somehow) will let me figure out if something's wrong, but nothing works at all...

    PunetWiin pretty much converts one nand to work onto a different system. Nand 1 >>Nand2, so Nand2 can be used on Wii2, while Nand1 has all the contents of Wii1.     No worries, we all start somewhere :O) I'm pretty sure the channel is the patch, cause it uses the disc and the files to patch together the whole game. think of it like a quilt, how every piece ultimately turns into something big. Hope that explains it lol
