I have to say that, after just recently discovering your emu's, I love all four of them. And there have been some great additional features/improvement request. I too have one, could you add an option to check for, and install, emu updates?
Thx. I know I don't need an Emunand and I will probably ditch it pretty soon, but I like to do things step by step. I'm not very familiair with the 3Ds technical terms and English is also not my native language (I'm Dutch), so I got used to make improvements on my 3DS setup / settings when I...
My N3DS runs with Luma 9.0 in 11.6 Emunand, but I also have a non-linked 9.2.0 Sysnand (with FBI and HBL CIA). Normally I boot up in Emunand, but sometimes I boot in sysnand, to play GBA games or just fiddle around a bit in Sysnand. So everytime when I want to switch between nands I need to shut...
Well, I tried to get some stuff working again today, and fortunately the TWL Slot-1 launcher is working again, so I can play my NDS games. Other stuff, like booting into sysnand still doesn't work, at least not when I have the Micro SD cart inserted. If I remove the micro SD card, then the N3DS...
My NDS has Sysnand 9.2-20E and Emunand 11.4.0-37 installed (so no AHL9 installed) and it was working great with Luma 7.05 as CFW. However, I wanted to update Luma, so today I installed B9S using this guide https://3ds.guide/updating-b9s. At least I followed it almost, I did follow section I to...
I updated to freeshop 3.1.8 today (from 3.0.0 I believe) and for testing purposes I installed a small game which went OK. Then I uninstalled it again, through freeshop, and the app freezes up completely. I have to do a hard console reboot to get access to the console again. If I then enter...
Aha, OK then. :) BTW, Cakes is already great and it will even be excellent once mid-kid adds the firmware.bin selection menu. That will be very useful for those having Retroarch on their system which doesn't work with 11.0 firmware.bin That's why I'm more or less forced to still use 10.4 bin.
Why is it that each time when I enter the menu settings, to change one or more cake settings, that I notice that 'Force saving patched firmware' is disabled although I enabled it earlier? I'm using V 175
And do I have to enable this setting each time again after changing one or more cakes...
It's a great emulator that runs most consoles/handhelds/PCS/neogeo at full speed, especially when you have the N3DS. But be sure to use the stable build 1.3.3 from March because the latest builds are buggy in more ways.
How do you mean? In the previous stable release, 20032016, gpsp doesn't crash, at least not on my N3DS. It takes a while before the GBA game starts, but eventually it starts and plays well. It closes also correctly (no software crash).
In the meanwhile I think this latest 'stable' release from...
Yes, that behaviour happens with me too. Just a little bug I guess, will probably be fixed in the next release.
But the new serach is a huge improvement. If only swipe-typing would be possible! LOL, just kidding. :D
@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
Or worse, you downloading something, and someone calls your phone and interupts the download, good ole AOL. Of course that's before most you guys even were born yet.
