    There's a few Beatmania games for the Game Boy Color which work great with a GB emu. There's also several Pop n Music games for GB Color.

    The game has started shipping in the US already. The UK gets it on Friday. The patch was available freely on one of EA's sites but when the Razor version came out they pulled it. Not sure if that's a coincidence or not.

    Homebrew How to use AR on TTDS

    I don't know about adding new codes but you can download the latest usrcheat.dat from here. Unzip and put that in the TTMenu folder and then you can browse the available cheats under each game's settings in the TTDS menu.

    Maybe have a look at the list on Wikipedia and try a few that you can emulate like the NES version. I've never played it so I can't give a good opinion on the different versions.
