    It looks like they are trying to ship out as much product as they possibly can, because they know, once the card is out to the wider public knockoffs are going to pop up right and left.

    I laugh my ass off every time I hear that the chip is from Russia... I've actually seen a Russian youtuber debunk this myth in a video just recently. Surprise surprise, those are actually Chinese!

    Those appear to be lattice ICE40UP5 and Expressive ESP32S2, the retail for both of them together is about 11$, if bought in large quantities it would be much much less . I am monitoring taobao day and night to spot knockoffs for these.

    The one on the left looks like it could be lattice ICE40UP5, the one on the right could be Expressive ESP32S2, the retail for both of them together is like 11$, if bought in large quantities it would be much much less I suppose. We could expect Chinese knockoffs for half the price in 2 or 3...

    Well importing one of these chips is quite easy where I live, would take 2-3 weeks max, however, at the current pricetag, I do not think it is a wise investment of money.
