    Sorry if you guys got that wrong I used a hardmod on the 2DS because it had the 11. Firmware The N3DSXL i bought had 9.5 so i never had to open it .

    I tried 4 differnt sd card readers with your described method all were external but none of them made my computer accept the 2ds as device with a letter. The internal sd card reader of my laptop at least made me choose the device in win32diskimager but reading is not possible win32diskimager...
