    PS1/2 Resident Evil's backups on modchipped PS2

Well, finally got the chipped PS1, strangely the discs that worked perfectly on the PS2, dont work on this, and the supposed Taiyo Yuden (with JVC labelling) ones that didnt work, now work perfectly on the PS1. RE1,2,3 working all correctly, and other games that sometimes didnt line the screen...

    PS1/2 Resident Evil's backups on modchipped PS2

For a giggle, I decided to crack out my unchipped PS1, and tried using the RE2 backup using the disc swap method (never done it before) ..... worked flawlessly first time. I think I may just get a modchipped PS1 and call it a day, pretty cheap anyway!

Just bought a PS2 from a reputable modder, appears to have a Matrix modchip inside. Immediately went to try Resident Evil 1, and found the disc drive just making some noise, and greeted by a black screen. Tried RE2, same thing, and also RE3. Disapointed, I thought it might be the laser on it's...

Hacking BootMii Recovery - First few blocks "Grey"

Thanks for clarifying :) I dont think I actually wrote BootMii to boot2, so I guess I got lucky when I restored the nand that nothing went wrong

Hacking BootMii Recovery - First few blocks "Grey"

Hi everyone, just started a BootMii recovery, and noticed in both the simulation and real thing, the first 10 or so blocks remain grey, while when I did the backup they were all green, is this normal? Wii has booted up and working fine afterwards thankfully, but just curious.
