    Quick question: Managed to get my hands on a 3DS running v4.2.0 software. Would I be able to use that to unblock the card for the DSiXL or does it have to be a DS/i/XL model? Thanks. Edit: I need to learn to read! The first reply clearly states I can use a 3ds :)

    R4i card turned up today! I was amazed tbh but very happy none-the-less. It didn't work straight out of the box, I just got www.r4ids.cn starting message but after reinstalling wood, all is well! Very impressed with the swift delivery.

    Nevermind. I vaguely remembered using DSLazy a while ago. I tried patching a few of the games that were giving me the error and they all load perfectly well...so my son can keep DScovered and use all the games he wants. He'll be home from school in a minute and i'm sure he will be chuffed!

    I downloaded a few new games for my son to play on his DS with Wood R4 and DScovered, but every time he tried to launch the games, either from the DScovered menu or Wood, he got the following error message: The save data could not be accessed. Please turn the power off and reinsert the game...

    Thanks. That site looks good and they're doing an R4i Gold promo which is great...the downside is they have some ongoing shipping problems. It'll take 2-3 weeks to ship so that's not looking good for Christmas. Oh well, i'll just got for it and buy a game to keep him busy over Christmas...
