    I see the JLCPCB box in one of your pictures. Did you use the emmc adapter from JLCPCB? or just the regular gold adapter? And I noticed in an earlier post you used the kamikaze method for a picofly install, which method do you prefer?

    Not just updates, you’re stuck just playing the “base” game. Mario Kart 8, Animal Crossing and Super Smash for example, you just have a handful of tracks and characters etc. You would be missing out on over half the game with all the new content released over the years :(

    Oh right, so a full reballing shouldn't crack if you wick it properly. This is indeed the cleanest method then. It’s just that some people advocate kamikaze and others advocate reballing if they have the skillset. Wish there was a clear preferred meta :)

    Ah noticed it is Abal1000x his file, really wonder how long these reballed EMMC's hold up as popular youtuberes like sthetix advocate against reflowing.

    Well, i installed it, it works as i saw the No SD and then the No bin screen after soldering it in. No idea if i will be able to update the chip in the future though? Anyone made the same mistake as i did and who could clarify if my only option to update is via an external programmer?
