Emulation Homebrew PCSX Rearmed "Optimal Settings"

Sorry:wacko:been busy and it took long enough for me to update the post, your settings looks pretty much set, if anything I'd enable Audio sync and increase the AppCpuTimeLimit as those 2 do affect performance ingame, besides that you already have a pretty much on point setting config so enjoy!

How to add cheats to luma3ds?

if you have rosalina menu make a cheats folder right in the root directory and put the title folder (this one 000400000F700800) with your cheat.txt there, you can access them ingame with the L+ Down+ Select button combo, that should work or atleast does for me :)

    How to edit cheats (HEX)

I'm using a cheat for IE3 Ogre that zooms out the camera in the overworld and in matches (made by Inazuma Life on yt), I'd like to know if there's a way to apply it only on matches and/ or make a cheat that overrides this one in the overworld This is the code: [Zoom Out v3.5] D3000000 14000000...

yeah they're for the pcsx-rearmed core, but the general settings (video and audio) work as a quality of life for any core you try and use.

Emulation Homebrew PCSX Rearmed "Optimal Settings"

I haven't as I just have the 2ds XL atm, few years back I tried retroarch with the OG 2DS and I could get Tenchu and FF7 running but the frames were really bad (never got past 20 I think) I wouldn't consider it playable but it's worth a try for less demanding games. I know retroarch has been...

Emulation Homebrew PCSX Rearmed "Optimal Settings"

1.18 seems to have removed that setting, It doesn't look like it affects the performance though. Either way the settings still seem to hold, in Core Options (speedhacks at the bottom of the list) there's Turbo CD now which looks like it helps with loading times, As far as I know that and...

Hacking BGM theme crashes anemone 3ds on boot. why?

Dw late replies are a thing :v. I can't be sure 100% but yeah progam converters tend to have trouble turning mp3 to wav ( converting mp3 to wav is uncompressing a compressed file so what happened to you it's one of the things that can happen with regular converters) I'd recommend you using...

Hacking BGM theme crashes anemone 3ds on boot. why?

I'm aware of audio crackling (as it happened to me) but not crashing outright, I doubt it's Anemone but try and reinstall it just in case. More than likely it's just the way you converted the original file that's giving the issue. What steps did you take to make the bgm?

Homebrew [Tutorial] How to make BGM.bcstm files for 3DS Themes

wav is an uncompressed format, the file is always going to be bigger. BGM's aren't hard to make, just have to know what you're working with. The way I do them it's a bit different to this post but fair enough as its an old thread. You'll need Looping Audio Converter 1.3, Usagi 3DS theme...

Retroarch PSX - Threaded Video - No image/crash

I've been playing some games with the latest nightlies to test if the settings still hold and they seem to be, the only game I found that doesn't is Tekken 3 which blackscreens when loading if Threaded Video is on, but the other settings still hold so just turn it off for now as It might affect...

Retroarch PSX - Threaded Video - No image/crash

not really, as far as I know it works properly switched on, also improves cutscenes performance, just make sure to have a clean install with the default settings and change it via .cfg as doing it from retroarch can freeze the console, after doing so you can change other settings but stay away...
