    At 1.9s, you should be fine with those. Error 001 should be dealt with, and as long as you are at 3.2J they won't semi-brick. I'm not sure the MK channel will work, but apart from that, should be fine.

    Just out of interest, does that mean you could use the dupe channel remover that isn't for your region, and fix a semi-brick by then inserting a jap disc (if you are semi-bricked with SSBB-U, like me and this guy?)

    It is only just over 24mb, its not much bigger. You could get v224 from SMG JAP though I dont know how big that is, and whether it would cause problems.

    If you get error 6 its just some weird trucha error - extract the file your trying to replace anywhere, then try to replace it again, the error goes away. You don't need to replace update.inf afaik.

    I tried that, but the fact that it IS 256 may mean it doesn't prompt an update (I haven't tried it in a Wii). I think a possible way to do it would be to edit the offsets and sizes of the Shopping and Weather (i think, whichever ones are before the wiisystemmenu in the update partition)...

    @gamidi: Does this actually work? If so I missed something before lol, I never had the chance to try this. So replacing the 3.1E v258 update with a U (or J, in my case) update will fix semi-bricks. This is great news for me if so, because I bricked with SSBB US on my JAP wii.
