Evening gentlemen (and ladies). So I have a Wii U on 5.1.0 and I've essentially had it unplugged so that it doesn't update. Tomorrow Nintendo will release an update for Mario Kart 8 that I'm sure will require a newer firmware. Should I update? Is there any reason not to update? I...- Munshine

Hello people. Quick question. Got a 3DS on 4.5 with Gateway. Is it safe to update to the latest 8.1 in emunand? Will it then work when Gateway updates the launcher.dat? What's the best thing to do? I fear Nintendo will release an update before Gateway does. Thanks in advance B-)- Munshine

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
