    You can use the "Is available" and "has joined" flags on the Catherine that already exists to get her in your Black Eagle route save. In the later chapters of the game there will just be 2 Catherine's in battles.

    The PS3 CPU is big endian, while x86 CPUs are little endian. If the tool is not aware of this it won't match the superblock magic because it's written "backwards".

    I tried both. In my first Fire Emblem test, it was cold booted between each test. In the tests you quoted there was no rebooting done - the software was closed and reopened between tests, but SX OS was only booted once.

    RXTools has no signature patching- and won't read the gateway cart. It is possible to use Legit CIAs with RXTools and Pokemon Bank to do this, however a much easier option since you already have Gateway is probably to just use the save editor PkHex. Also make sure you backup your emunand...

    My N3DS LL (japanese) is doing something similar to this... The only way I can get it to work is with the battery in and the charger plugged in as well. As soon as I remove the charger it turns off. The battery isn't broken or short on charge, I've put in my o3DS and it works normally there...
