    Actually, that's an SDEV unit, but EDEV units exist, and are indistinguishable from normal Switch consoles except that they say "EDEV" somewhere on the back of the console.

And dev firmware isn't public (although certain groups have it, it is illegal to distribute it; even if you are in a non-extraditing country, that won't stop Nintendo from threatening family...
