    I had success using the redthetrainer website. I spent four or five hours trying, hit the sack, this morning did it again for shits and giggles. Now I'm rolling with REBUG CFW.

    I am 2501A and I am homebrewing AF with this. Just expect to be very patient. 3001B is not going to work, however. The reason for the ambiguity on 25xx models is because some have a min firmware higher than 3.56, others are 3.56 and under. Have to check with minver.pup.

    What would you say would be the most demanding game you've run in the PS2 emulator. I've had my doubts about the quality of an all-software PS2 emulator in a system like the PS3 for a long time.

    Success!!! Did it on a lark this morning and it worked first try. Makes me think there was an update to the exploit overnight, or I got lucky. Either way, my PS3 is gonna be homebrew AF now.

    I installed standard Ferrox. Going to Cobra is as simple as just sticking the PUP file in the UPDATE folder?

    Exploit successful, instllalled Ferrox 4.82. I can figure out how to get emulators and roms on my PS3 on my own. Does an external drive need to be formatted FAT32 as well or will NTFS work?
