Nintendo puts rumors of Skyward Sword on Switch to rest, no current plans for a port

Friendly Reminder: This is the same company that said they were OK with the current 3DS and then announced a revision the next day.

I have an NNID linked to my Nintendo account; however I have created a username for the account and login via that. Is it safe to unlink my NNID?

Gaming [RUMOUR] YouTube coming to the Switch?

Don't you need an account to use the Switch anyway?

Wall Street Journal reports Nintendo will release a revised model of the Nintendo Switch in 2019

First party games? Probably not unless the new model has asymmetrical game-play; which is possibly why Super Mario Maker and Pikmin don't have ports and/or sequels yet. Now third party games will more than likely take advantage of the upgraded hardware.

Wall Street Journal reports Nintendo will release a revised model of the Nintendo Switch in 2019

Nintendo console? Nice goal post move. Also Nintendo ported Wii games to Wii U, and Wii U games to 3DS. We DO have new major games besides Odyssey. We have Zelda: BotW, Arms, Splatoon 2, Kirby Star Allies, Mario Tennis Aces, and Super Mario Party. We have some more coming this year: Super Smash...

Wall Street Journal reports Nintendo will release a revised model of the Nintendo Switch in 2019

It's a fact that first and second party Wii U games are masterpieces (otherwise they wouldn't have an insane attach rate) and it's not rocket science for even the fans to want more people to experience them. It's also a fact that we all knew paid online was coming the moment the Switch was...

Wall Street Journal reports Nintendo will release a revised model of the Nintendo Switch in 2019

Smartphone makers release revisions every two years and those phones cost more than a $300 console. Well first they'd have to purchase servers since there's nothing to revise ;) Has nothing to do with the topic at hand. You all knew paid online was coming since the Switch's announcement. How...

Wall Street Journal reports Nintendo will release a revised model of the Nintendo Switch in 2019

Why? Switch is a handheld that connects to the TV so it's logical that Nintendo will release upgrades - just like every handheld they've released so far.

Wall Street Journal reports Nintendo will release a revised model of the Nintendo Switch in 2019

I hope it has joycons that are symmetrical. Wouldn't surprise me at all if that's the upgrade and why Pikmin 4 gameplay hasn't even been teased.

Nintendo clarifies details about cloud saves, will keep saves stored for 6 months after cancellation

You're all wrong. The information came directly from Nintendo's website. The FAQ stated that "Save data stored with Save Data Cloud cannot be kept outside of the duration of your Nintendo Switch Online membership". Simply put: All this is back-peddling. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Nintendo gives more details about its online service, cloud saves get deleted if you cancel your sub

Except they already did that. On Wii U and 3DS. Bought them on Wii? Too bad, you have to rebuy them on Wii U and 3DS. I wouldn't mind buying them outright on Switch. It's a perfect Virtual Console device. However, now we have to rent them and check-in every seven days. Imagine if Microsoft or...

Hacking "A new update is available" message on game start

Not really. All it'd have to be is a simple text file with the "Game = Firmware #" per line. Would be less than 100KB.

GBAtemp Exclusive Weekend Discussion: What "dream game" would you want to see get announced?

Pikmin Trilogy HD for Switch or Pikmin 4 but would prefer the former to have all three Pikmin games on one console that's portable.

    Nintendo - Gamescom trailers roundup

Ultimate was built from the ground up in Unreal Engine. You should look into current first party titles - they have plenty of "interesting" and "creative" "stuff".
